A year ago today was a historic milestone for Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport! The first Malaysia Airlines flight touched down from Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant achievement for international connectivity in Punjab.

Not only did Malaysia Airlines commence its operations, but it was also the first time in history that Amritsar welcomed flights from three different airlines from Malaysia on the same day: Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, and Batik Air Malaysia —further enhancing our city’s global ties and accessibility.
