The direct Amritsar-Jaipur flights were suspended in most of the 2020, due to restrictions imposed in the country as well as due to some operational reasons because of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Currently, the airline will operate 3x weekly direct flights on this route, starting 11th February 2021. The flights would operate on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s.

The timing of these flights is as follows:

From Amritsar to Jaipur

From Jaipur to Amritsar

The flight from Amritsar would depart at 10:30am in the morning and reach Jaipur at 12:30pm, while the flight from Jaipur will depart at 8:20am in the morning and reach Amritsar at 9:55am.

The airline will use its 80-90 seater, Dash-8Q400 aircraft for the route. With the domestic market recovering slowly , the airline may consider starting Daily flights on the route in the coming months.

Tickets are already on sale and can be booked via SpiceJet website, etc.

FlyAmritsar Initiative, Amritsar Vikas Manch (AVM), after lobbying hard for addition of Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar in Government of India’s UDAN scheme in 2018, got 6 routes included under UDAN-3 from the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India namely Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata, Dharamsala, Goa and Varanasi. Eventually out of these 6 routes, 3 have been operational. Spicejet operates two routes to Patna, Jaipur and Kolkata by Indigo.

After Jaipur, Amritsar will now get directly connected with 7 domestic destinations namely Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar, Patna, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Jaipur.
